POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for the development, coordination and delivery of training programs throughout the organization. Delivers a variety of training programs, including CARE, TCI, CPR and other mandated trainings; tracks staff attendance, maintains training records and assists with staff scheduling of training attendance. In addition the position provides a variety of services in support of program analysis and quality improvement while supporting compliance with DCFS, DHS, Medicaid and COA standards; collects and analyzes quality improvement data for identified programs, including outcomes, quality reviews, consumer satisfaction surveys and other reports concerning quality improvement activities and results.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Works in conjunction with other training staff to conducts initial and on-going required trainings for Hoyleton staff.
  • Assists in research and development of newly identified trainings needs.
  • Utilizes identified training system to maintain training attendance and scheduling.
  • Works in conjunction with programs and departments to address issues related to staff non-compliance with training.
  • Collects quality improvement data from programs concerning outcomes.
  • Maintains and enters data in identified systems for use in reporting and tracking.
  • Aggregates and distributes quality improvement data, quality review results, satisfaction survey results and external review feedback into reports, focusing heavily on trends and risks.
  • Responds to requests for specific data from programs and departments.
  • Schedules and conducts program file reviews and program peer reviews on a quarterly basis, including generating a summary report.
  • Assists in the development and distribution of consumer surveys; completes data entry of surveys and prepares report.
  • Participate in program and department meetings that are relatable to improvement activities.
  • Reconciles internal data with external funder data as needed.
  • Provides support during Medicaid, DCFS, DHS, COA and all other external program reviews and remains current on requirements for both quality needs and training needs.
  • Periodic travel to other agency sites aside from primary work location to assist in improvement and training tasks.

 

 

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in human service or related field preferred along with two years' experience in a human service field.
  • Certification to train CARE and TCI preferred.
  • Experience with conducting face to face training.
  • Exceptional skills with Microsoft office, including Excel; knowledge of Access desired and the ability to adapt to new data management systems.
  • Experience developing and analyzing concise, visually informative reports.
  • Possess the experience, personal qualities and practice skills to work effectively with professionals from a variety of disciplines both internally and externally.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • An ability to work independently.
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
