Direct Support Person Duties

  • The Direct Support Worker is responsible for implementing direct service and support for clients at the CILA, Hope House in Highland, Illinois.  
  • Serve as advocate for clients to live in the community as production citizens
  • Set and role model realistic and positive standards of conduct and morality, and must be punctual, responsible, and supportive.

Direct Support Person Qualifications

  • Minimum requirements include High School diploma or GED
  • Successful completion of reading test and training program
  • Be at least 21 years of age, and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Available to work a variety of shifts including evenings, weekends and holidays
